Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our team at our 242-unit senior living community in Richardson. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for greeting prospects, showing apartments, closing sales, and processing rental applications and leases in compliance with fair housing laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and residents, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Answer and return resident calls, as well as email requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete guest cards and lease paperwork correctly and timely, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sell features and amenities to prospective residents, highlighting the benefits of our community.
  • Show apartments, providing tours and answering questions to prospective residents.
  • Secure leases, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of leasing consultant experience.
  • Good leasing and closing skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, prospects, and colleagues.
  • Ability to type 30 WPM and be organized, with strong attention to detail.
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi or other similar programs.
  • Must be able to work every Saturday.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Saturday, with varying hours to accommodate the needs of our community. Winter hours may vary.

Required License or Certification:

Valid Driver's License in the state where the property is located, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property where applicable, or willing to obtain a Driver's License to meet these stipulations within 60 days.
