RN Coordinator in Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled RN Coordinator to join our team in the Operating Room at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our OR department.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with surgeons on procedures, schedules, and specific requests
- Coordinate workflow and equipment with vendors
- Assist staff with targeted in-services and unit-based education
- Work towards OR metrics and goals
- Serve as a resource and mentor to the team
- Support the development of RNs and senior RNs
- Monitor inventory, instruments, and equipment
- Prepare and verify supplies and equipment lists for surgical procedures
- Maintain and update preference cards
- Act as a board runner (charge nurse) when coverage is needed
