Leadership Role Overview

Salem Health is seeking a dedicated Associate Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) to lead a high-quality patient care team. As a key member of the organization's leadership team, you will oversee medical care, provide guidance, and motivate staff to ensure a positive and productive environment for quality, patient-centered care and medical education.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned Medical Directors in a collaborative and positive way while meeting quality outcomes and productivity measurements.
Implement, oversee, and communicate new quality initiatives and set and monitor provider productivity standards.
Develop and review clinical policies, guidelines, and protocols, ensuring current and ongoing training is available to providers in compliance, risk management, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
Participate in improving patient care processes and Epic coding to ensure accurate and complete coding.
Engage in education, development, and mentorship, conducting ongoing coaching to drive improved performance for physicians and advanced practice providers.
Assist the Chief Medical Officer in preparing a monthly report for the Board of Directors, outlining quality assurance reports, medical audit findings, policy and procedures status reports, and monthly provider productivity outcomes.

Requirements:
5 years of experience in a Physician Leadership role
Experience working with electronic medical records
Current, or able to obtain, active unrestricted Oregon medical license
Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Knowledge of Lean methodology is highly preferred
