Position: Registered Nurse
Organization: Whittier Health Network
Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week - all shifts
Compensation: $44.00 per hour with additional differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. Quarterly bonuses are also available.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering outstanding care to all residents, including but not limited to:
- Receiving and documenting reports from the outgoing nurse to ensure continuity of care.
- Conducting thorough rounds and promptly addressing any issues with the nursing supervisor.
- Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders while meticulously documenting all care provided.
- Performing comprehensive assessments of residents and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to maintain high standards of resident care.
- Supervising nursing assistants and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Providing immediate assistance to residents in need and responding to calls for help.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- Experience in Geriatric Nursing is essential.
