Athletic Rehabilitation Specialist

Northeast Rehabilitation Health Network is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Athletic Rehabilitation Specialist to spearhead our Sports Medicine initiative. This role focuses on the evaluation and recovery of both adult and youth athletes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care during their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation programs for athletes.
  • Utilize advanced techniques in strength and conditioning to facilitate optimal recovery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of employment and be eligible for licensure in other states.
  • ABPTS Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and/or ABPTS Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) certification is preferred or the desire to pursue such credentials.
  • Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) is advantageous or the intention to obtain it.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
