Position Overview:

As a vital member of the Whittier Health Network, the Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the well-being of all residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physiological responses and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Perform regular patient rounds, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established best practices, ensuring accurate documentation of all care provided.
  • Evaluate patients' conditions weekly, focusing on skin integrity and other critical health indicators.
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to both licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
  • Maintain adherence to all relevant federal, state, and local regulations within the assigned unit.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Managers and Directors of Nursing in a shared governance framework.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Possession of a current and active RN license in Massachusetts.
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support, adhering to AHS or ARC standards.
  • ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Critical Care and Med/Surg is advantageous.
