Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests and visitors of the hotel. This includes checking guests in and out efficiently, processing payments, and answering phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

Welcomes guests in a friendly and professional manner, registering them and issuing room keys as needed.

Provides information on hotel services and room locations, and answers phone calls in a timely and courteous manner.

Processes all cash and credit card transactions accurately, in accordance with established procedures.

Issues, controls, and releases guest safe-deposit boxes as required.

Communicates any outstanding guest requests or issues to management for follow-up.

Responds to guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, making service recovery gestures as needed.

Qualifications

1-2 years of customer service experience.

Ability to stand for 8 hours.

Basic knowledge of computers and software, including email, word processing, and hotel management systems.
