Job Summary

Catering Partnership Coordinators play a crucial role in our meetings and events teams by supporting the end-to-end catering needs for small to large-scale events. They work with our catering vendors to manage and assist with menu planning, ordering, and execution to ensure a seamless catering experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Consult and drive the catering process on behalf of the customer (or event planner), providing expertise, support, and guidance in areas such as menu/vendor selection, ordering, and vendor management.
  2. Negotiate competitive margins, pricing, and portions for both new and existing restaurant partners.
  3. Support day-of execution, including coordination with team/vendors to ensure accuracy/delivery of order, addressing last-minute issues or needs.
  4. Manage and foster relationships with the team, vendors, customers, and other key stakeholders through effective communications, collaboration, and engagement to deliver a "best in class" catering experience.
  5. Ensure an excellent working knowledge of department services, catering services, menu planning, vendor capabilities, meeting space, and WeBox Catering protocols, policies, and procedures.
  6. Perform post-event duties such as expense processing, invoice management, providing feedback to vendors to improve processes, and other details as needed.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience with menu development, partnership relations, or customer service within the food and catering industry.
  • Experience with vendor relationship management and negotiation.
  • A proven successful track record with attention to detail but know when to take a step back and take in the big picture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for innovation and a drive to optimize user experiences.
