At Veterans Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled building improvements, arrange for ongoing facility maintenance and repairs, and detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
- Facility Planning: Work with the supervisor to develop plans to address the facility needs of all Veterans Inc. housing programs.
- Grounds and Exterior Maintenance: Assist with upkeep and cleanliness of interior and exterior of company buildings, including snow blowing, shoveling, and salting around buildings.
- Special Projects: Complete facility renovations and special projects, assist in preparation of plans, and follow set schedule for facilities projects.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform repairs and/or installs company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
- Emergency Response: Responsible for evaluating and handling building emergencies when they arise.
- Education: Trade school or high school diploma graduate.
- Experience: 2-5 years of general building repair and maintenance experience.
- Certifications: Certificate in a trade program is preferred.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
- Availability: Must be available to work some weekend days.
- CORI Background Check: Must be able to pass a CORI Background records check.
