About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Age Site Administrator to join our team at the YMCA of Delaware. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school age programs in the western location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality school age programs that meet the needs of our participants.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support a team of staff members to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to deliver excellent programs.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and supportive environment for all.
  • Facility Management: Ensure the western location facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement new programs and activities that meet the needs of our participants.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience working with children in a group setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multi-lingual skills
  • Prior experience working with youth in a group setting
  • Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops
