We are seeking a Plumbing Leader to enhance our multidisciplinary buildings engineering team. This pivotal role requires a candidate who can oversee multidisciplinary projects, ensure the delivery of exceptional work, cultivate strong client relationships, and actively mentor our engineering staff. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in providing internal leadership within our Plumbing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the plumbing team, fostering a culture of quality, trust, and transparency.

• Oversee plumbing engineering design on projects, ensuring responsible charge responsibilities are met.

• Provide multidisciplinary leadership for project teams, collaborating with clients to integrate all firm disciplines.

• Deliver high-quality engineering outcomes to meet internal project objectives.

• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships.

• Supervise staff across various projects, including healthcare, rail, aviation, commercial, and industrial sectors, with a focus on decarbonization efforts.

• Attend client meetings and OAC (Owner, Architect, Contractor) sessions.

• Engage with local Professional Associations, including ASPE.

• Participate in project pursuits, including proposal reviews and scoping documents.

• Promote a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and inclusivity.

• Mentor and support the skill development of team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.

• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in designing building plumbing systems, including airside and hydronic components.

• Professional US Engineering License or equivalent certification in plumbing discipline.

• Experience leading project teams on medium to large-scale projects.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment.

• Proficiency in 3D BIM/CAD software such as AutoCAD MEP or Revit MEP, with a solid understanding of the BIM process from a multidisciplinary perspective.

• Familiarity with clash detection, multidisciplinary planning, and quality assessment of models using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for collaborative work.

• Strong presentation skills for engaging with colleagues and clients at all levels.
