We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to join our team as a Charge Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of direct patient care staff, maintaining knowledge of current practices related to dialysis principles and techniques, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to make decisions that benefit patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, specifically in dialysis patients, and possess supervisory or management experience. You will provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, participate in department staffing, and recommend disciplinary actions as needed.

A successful candidate will also maintain knowledge of current practices related to dialysis principles and techniques, train and orient staff, and promote efficient use of medical supplies. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with direct patient care teams to make decisions that benefit patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of direct patient care staff to ensure seamless delivery of dialysis services
  • Maintain knowledge of current practices related to dialysis principles and techniques
  • Train and orient staff on new procedures and technologies
  • Promote efficient use of medical supplies to optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to make decisions that benefit patient care
  • Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed by physicians
Educational Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
  • Registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
Experience and Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, plus 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
  • Medical/surgical nursing preferred
  • Supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year
