D & D MECHANICAL, INC. is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Accounting Manager. This pivotal position demands a high level of precision, extensive financial knowledge, and the capability to work autonomously to maintain the accuracy and reliability of our financial documentation.

The Accounting Manager will report to the Executive team and will be instrumental in influencing financial strategies and guiding decision-making processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
Generate timely and precise financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to offer insights into the organization’s financial health.
Oversee journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for monthly closings.

Accounting Oversight:
Supervise daily accounting functions, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and fixed assets, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of accounting professionals.

Internal Control Implementation:
Establish and uphold robust internal control measures to protect company assets, prevent fraudulent activities, and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

Cash Flow Oversight:
Monitor and manage cash flow to enhance liquidity and support operational needs.

Tax Oversight:
Supervise the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

Audit Management:
Facilitate coordination with external auditors during the annual audit, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.

Risk Assessment:
Identify financial risks and recommend effective risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s financial interests.

Engage in special accounting projects and other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience as an Accounting Manager or in a comparable role, preferably with comprehensive oversight of financial and accounting operations.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Foundations Construction Software.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet stringent deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in financial tasks and projects.
Commitment to integrity and confidentiality in managing sensitive financial data.
