Position Scope

The role involves collaborating with third-party Container Freight Station (CFS) partners to ensure accurate tracking of shipments processed through the warehouse, while coordinating with our internal teams for the recovery and delivery of goods to consignees.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate shipments within the Expeditors system.
  • Coordinate office and warehouse staff to locate and consolidate shipments for loading and movement.
  • Engage with the Expeditors Dispatch Team and Products to facilitate shipment recovery from CFS.
  • Collaborate with CFS management to arrange for the retrieval of preloaded trailers.
  • Conduct ongoing inventory assessments to ensure accuracy in freight movements.
  • Drive process enhancements that benefit both the third-party CFS partner and Expeditors Products.
  • Utilize workflow tools and dashboards to enhance visibility of freight movements and the completion of the shipment lifecycle at the CFS.
  • Support the Import Gateway team in freight recovery, CFS shipments, and equipment returns to air and ocean partners.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful candidates must pass a background check.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • No future sponsorship for employment visa is required.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to commute as required.
  • Comfortable with numerical data and basic math skills.
  • Experience in a professional business environment.

  • Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while maintaining focus and organization.
  • Proactive in thought and action.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to listen, comprehend, and convey information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Understanding of international shipment processes and documentation.
  • Familiarity with international air and ocean import recovery and breakdown.
  • Knowledge of ground network services for trucking operations.
