Cargowise System Support Assistant Manager

LHH is seeking a highly skilled logistics professional to join our team as a Cargowise System Support Assistant Manager. This is a direct hire role with a competitive salary of up to $80,000/year, depending on experience.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring the effective utilization of the Cargowise system across various departments, addressing their needs, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with different departments to identify their needs and challenges related to the Cargowise system.
  • Work with the support team to develop solutions and enhancements for the Cargowise system.
  • Train end users on best practices for utilizing Cargowise to optimize their operations.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in partnership with various departments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the Cargowise system, ensuring seamless operation and user support.
  • Utilize knowledge of logistics operations, including import/export, trucking, and customs brokerage, to inform system development and training.
  • Assist with printer, server, and network configuration as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business or management, preferably in a logistics or operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including import/export and customs brokerage.
  • Familiarity with Cargowise or similar logistics management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various departments.
  • Ability to develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end users.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (an Excel test will be administered).
  • Knowledge of printer/server/network configuration is a plus.
