Position Overview:
The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading the Front Office team, ensuring that exceptional customer service is consistently delivered. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effectively communicating both verbally and in writing to provide clear guidance to staff.
  • Monitoring lobby activity and adjusting staffing levels as needed.
  • Welcoming guests with a warm and sincere greeting.
  • Completing the registration process efficiently, confirming essential information such as guest count and room rates.
  • Promoting the marketing initiatives of the organization.
  • Making informed room selections based on guest preferences.
  • Managing cash transactions and maintaining an accurate house bank.
  • Resolving guest inquiries and complaints through thorough investigation and effective solutions.
  • Remaining composed and alert during busy periods and emergencies, serving as a role model for the Front Office team.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with both internal and external customers.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Ability to navigate and input information into a moderately complex computer system.
  • Capability to stand and move continuously in a front desk environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:
A high school diploma is required, with some college education preferred. While prior experience is not mandatory, two years of combined front desk and supervisory experience is advantageous. All employees are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance.

Additional Information:
Applicants with additional language skills are preferred. The hotel operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day, and flexibility in scheduling may be required based on business needs.
