About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician at Child Communication and Behavior Specialists. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and their families by implementing behavior intervention plans and providing a nurturing environment for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Engage in developmentally appropriate play activities with clients
  • Collect accurate data on a daily basis to track progress and inform treatment decisions
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to learn and grow
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of quality and consistency in services
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation and ability to drive up to 40 miles per day between appointments
  • Available to work from 3:30PM-6:30PM Monday-Friday
  • Able to engage in physically demanding activities
  • Valid California driver's license required
  • Clear TB test and completed immunization sequence required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (training provided)
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably those with developmental delays or disorders
