Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs, engaging in developmentally appropriate play skills with clients, and collecting accurate data on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs as designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Engage in developmentally appropriate play skills with clients, promoting a fun and enriched environment
  • Collect accurate data on a daily basis, ensuring the highest level of quality and precision
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Provide exceptional support to clients and their families, fostering a sense of trust and understanding
  • Adhere to company policies and administrative duties, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation and driving up to 40 miles a day between appointments
  • Available from 3:30PM-6:30PM Monday-Friday
  • Able to engage in a physically demanding job, lifting and carrying pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)
  • Must have valid CA driver's license, clear TB test, and completed immunizations sequences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (will provide paid certification training)
  • Positive past experience with children, preferably those with developmental delays or disorders

Work Environment
