Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HR Operations Specialist to join our team in NYC. This role will focus on managing benefits, payroll, HRIS, and HR analytics.

About the Role

This is a hybrid schedule position, with 3 days in NYC and 2 days working from home. The salary range for this position is $65k-$80k + bonus and great benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and analyze key HR metrics, including turnover, headcount, and engagement.
  • Generate reports and provide data analysis to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate open enrollment and ensure compliance with benefit-related regulations.
  • Collaborate with payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage data integrity between HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Address payroll discrepancies and provide exceptional employee support.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to provide insights for leadership.
  • Assist in developing strategies based on data trends and analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, benefits, payroll, or HRIS.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
