Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our team at Ocean Downs. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to service requests and provide timely and effective technical support to resolve issues related to computer systems, networks, and software.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks, including running backups, editing system data, and troubleshooting.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software, including telephone system hardware and cabling.
  • LAN Maintenance: Perform LAN maintenance tasks as directed by the corporate Systems group, including network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Customer Relations: Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive and professional image of Ocean Downs.
  • Requirements: A minimum of one to two years of experience in computer operations, with a strong understanding of hardware and software systems. Proficiency in LAN and Microsoft Office products is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: A minimum of one to two years of experience in computer operations.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, proficiency in LAN and Microsoft Office products, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
