Community Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Washington County Mental Health Services is seeking a skilled Community Support Specialist to provide a range of services to adults in mental health services. This is a full-time benefited position primarily based in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support services to clients, including outreach visits, support services, accessing benefits, and assistance with independent living skills.
- Develop and deliver services to assist clients in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, vocational, housing, financial, and other services.
- Collaborate with clients, case managers, clinicians, community partners, hospitals, and others involved with the treatment team on an ongoing basis.
- Attend required meetings and trainings, including individual and/or group supervision and other agency committee work.
Requirements:
- Therapeutic experience with the target population.
- Excellent case management skills.
- Reliable, on-time, flexible, and able to work as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard.
