F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:
The F-16 Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning and directing maintenance operations to ensure policy and procedures are followed to achieve established goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assign program workloads and duties for entire shifts of workers performing aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modifications.
- Maintain knowledge of supply procedures, Service Bulletins/Letters, and Airworthiness Directives.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Ensure knowledge of F-16 aircraft avionics and electrical systems, as well as landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging, and aircraft movement.
- Read and speak English, comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The below additional requirements apply to this position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Meet one of the following requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.
- An Associate's degree plus 6 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.
- High School Diploma plus 10 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.
- At least 10 years working F-16 aircraft experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Flight Line Operations.
- Must have leadership experience in an F-16 aircraft maintenance environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 30 pounds to shoulder height.
- Must be able to lift and carry parts, tooling, and other awkward items sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
