Job Summary

HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tucson, AZ.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft, including opening and closing panels and using hand tools to remove screws.
  • Conduct limited aircraft maintenance, cleaning grease and grime from wheel wells and aircraft underbelly, and removing corrosion protection.
  • Work with various chemicals and materials, and operate scissor lifts and ladders.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
  • Excellent mechanical skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Criminal background check and compliance with FAA drug and alcohol screening requirements.
Work Schedule
  • Full-time, contract position with flexible scheduling.
  • Shift work: Front half days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM) and back half days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM).
  • Night shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
