Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and aesthetic appeal of residential properties. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining apartment units, common areas, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Uphold the values and objectives of the property owner in daily operations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • General Maintenance: Implement the maintenance program to maintain the property in optimal condition, following safety protocols and aesthetic standards.
  • Emergency Response: Provide on-call maintenance services during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Unit Preparation: Conduct inspections and repairs on vacant units to ensure readiness for new residents, including painting and appliance installation.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and secure all maintenance tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare properties for inspections, ensuring adherence to housing program standards and regulations.
  • Community Standards: Enforce community rules and regulations fairly and consistently while promoting a professional image.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in residential property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills are required.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs.
