Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and guests, representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintenance and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair all aspects of the community and apartment units, including plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, carpentry, appliances, painting, and drywall.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality control checks of all final products, including unit turns, preventive maintenance, and rehab projects.
- Emergency Response: Address all emergency service requests in a timely fashion, including on-call emergencies.
- Supply Management: Coordinate with supervisor to order supplies while maintaining the appropriate expense budget allotted per community.
- Team Collaboration: Work together with the service team to keep on-site shops in order and assist with move-in and move-out procedures.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure Company Safety Program and OSHA safety requirements are being followed and conduct routine property safety inspections.
- Training and Certification: Maintain annual fair housing certification for maintenance and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ year of residential maintenance or related experience, with 1+ year of experience in multifamily property management highly preferred.
- Certifications: HVAC/EPA Certification preferred.
- License: Must have a valid driver's license.
