Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead Social Media Insights Strategist to become a vital member of our Insights division.


The Insights team at 1000heads operates as a vibrant, data-centric unit, dedicated to deciphering the motivations of online consumers, comprehending brand perceptions within their communities, and transforming data into engaging narratives.

Equipped with an array of advanced analytical tools, the Insights team develops performance reports, new business strategies, and comprehensive evaluations for globally recognized brands, collaborating with various departmental experts, including Community, Paid Media, and Strategy.

From crafting visually appealing data presentations to keeping our clients informed about the latest audience trends, to translating social listening initiatives into cultural insights, our actionable intelligence is central to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

The Insights Team is dedicated to addressing essential inquiries that begin with WHY. If you possess a natural curiosity and a determination to uncover the truth, you will thrive in this role.

Having an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to leading the field in social media and digital measurement is essential.

The Insights Team works closely with account teams, providing clients with data-informed insights and decision-making support at critical stages, including:

• Strategic planning
• Insight generation for creative ideation
• KPI selection and target establishment
• Development of measurement frameworks
• Evaluation of post-campaign performance


The Insights Team also undertakes customized, independent research projects aimed at helping clients gain a deeper understanding of their audience, brand, and market landscape.


Responding to Client Briefs:

You will collaborate with account leaders to define and refine client briefs, crafting tailored solutions for their insight and measurement requirements.


Methodology Development:
You will design and implement research and measurement methodologies, ensuring accuracy and consistency across your projects.

Data Collection and Analysis:

You will leverage a variety of data sources for analysis, including social listening tools, native platform analytics, and third-party research. No data source will be off-limits for you.


Report Production:
You will create and present reports that interpret data, deliver insights, and inspire actionable strategies.

As this role progresses, the opportunity to manage an Insight Analyst or Junior Insight Analyst will also be available.

Essential Skills
• Proficient in data visualization beyond basic spreadsheet capabilities
• In-depth knowledge of social and digital platform analytics
• Extensive experience with social listening tools
• Advanced understanding of audience analysis platforms, such as Global Web Index, and familiarity with a wide range of data sources
• Expertise in developing methodologies for both primary research and performance measurement
• Proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
• Skilled in creating and implementing reporting templates in Excel and PowerPoint, along with crafting clear and compelling analyses
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail, with the ability to identify flaws in methods, reports, and plans
• Highly organized, with a focus on data accuracy and management
• Leadership and client management capabilities

People Management Skills:
• Experience in day-to-day management and career development of team members
• Proven track record in leading a team of insights analysts

Qualifications
• 5-7 years of experience in an analytical or social media marketing role, with expertise in social and digital elements; agency experience is highly valued
• Ability to discover, test, and implement new tools and processes for digital tracking and measurement
• Advanced knowledge of social and digital platform analytics
• Extensive experience with social listening platforms
• Advanced knowledge of audience analysis platforms like Global Web Index and the capability to identify and analyze additional data sources
• Experience in developing methodologies for both primary research and performance measurement
• Proven experience in team leadership
