Regulatory Compliance Officer at Aperto Property Management, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the thorough completion of documentation to maintain compliance with Affordable Programs
  • Assess and confirm compliance of resident files with Affordable Programs
  • Oversee Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) tasks and resolve discrepancies
  • Verify the accuracy of income/rent limits and subsidies
  • Monitor adherence to regulations across the portfolio
  • Identify and rectify compliance-related issues
  • Prepare properties for audits
  • Engage in compliance training sessions
  • Assist in compiling data for agency audits and reports
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support
  • Communicate in a professional and effective manner
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors
  • Perform additional duties as required

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience with LIHTC & HUD programs
  • Prior experience in compliance roles
  • Familiarity with Yardi and Onesite software
  • Certification in a related field is advantageous
  • Capability to interpret complex documents and manage various priorities
