Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Regulatory Compliance Specialist to enhance our sustainability and packaging efforts at ILIA Beauty.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product development, packaging, and research teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Oversee waste management projects and initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and communication regarding regulations that affect packaging, including sustainability, recycling, and safety assessments.
- Assist in the preparation of necessary documents for market registration and new product launches.
- Support global compliance and product registration for both new and existing offerings in various markets.
- Aid in formulating composite formulas for multi-shade products.
- Create, update, and archive efficacy test reports.
- Work closely with the product development team to verify the global regulatory compliance of raw materials, requesting additional information as necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetic industry, with a focus on packaging and sustainability.
- Comprehensive knowledge of global product launches across diverse beauty categories (skincare, makeup, OTC, etc.).
- Familiarity with cosmetic regulations in Canada, the USA, and Europe.
- Proficient in Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Strong work ethic with a focus on efficiency: Must be organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with various stakeholders, including product development teams, contract manufacturers, and raw material suppliers.
