Job Title: Regional Client Care Manager

At the American Red Cross, we are committed to delivering our programs and services in a culturally competent manner, reflecting the communities we serve. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Client Care Manager to lead our disaster response efforts in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a diverse team of volunteers responsible for implementing disaster cycle services programming throughout the assigned geographic area.
  • Develop and support disaster volunteers who are the primary workforce, and representative of the communities they serve, both culturally and linguistically.
  • Engage and mobilize communities and partners with specific functional expertise and assets to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and emergencies.
  • Build relationships and collaborate in the matrix management environment with internal partners, including employees and volunteers.
  • Act as the Red Cross disaster subject matter expert within the assigned geographic area, to maximize Red Cross presence and community engagement and mobilization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of related experience with building, mobilizing, leading, and developing volunteer teams to execute a social services program or service.
  • Valid Drivers License.
