Job Title: Regional School-Based Behavior Analyst

At Dominion Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Regional School-Based Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral support services to students in our Richmond and Tidewater locations.

Job Summary:

The Regional School-Based Behavior Analyst will act as the primary clinical leader for our Academy and Therapy and Education Center. This role requires collaboration with school personnel to develop and implement positive support plans for students, as well as providing support and professional development to teachers and school staff in appropriate intervention techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments to determine the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Develop materials and resources to provide professional learning to administrators, educators, and support staff in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based practices.
  • Plan and oversee the development and implementation of programs, policies, and best practices related to instruction using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) for individual students and collaborate in the development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Assist in the management of behavior that is deemed unsafe.
  • Determine prevention, intervention, and strategies utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods.
  • Work directly with students who exhibit inappropriate behaviors and provide support and professional learning for staff that work with such students.
  • Design and implement data collection systems and assist in the interpretation of that data.
  • Cooperate with staff and administration to promote a positive organizational climate.
  • Work with classroom teachers and support staff to model effective behavioral and instructional programming and provide in vivo consultation for behavior support plan implementation.
  • Provide regular parent communication to ensure services are effective.
