Job Title: Clinical Sales Specialist, ESD

Job Purpose

This role is designed to report directly to the National Director of Clinical Sales and serves as the principal sales support resource for the organization and its sales team. The Clinical Sales Specialist is tasked with facilitating the achievement of sales targets for both traditional and specialty products (e.g., DBE, EUS). This position involves supporting clinical demonstrations of products and aiding in the sales closure process, while also providing education and training to company personnel, customers, and sales partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to driving sales revenue within the designated regional territory as directed.
  • Assist in generating sales revenue beyond the primary regional territory as required by the organization and approved by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Support the clinical demonstration process alongside direct sales personnel or sales partners as instructed.
  • Lead the pre-demonstration preparations to ensure successful clinical demonstrations.
  • Act as a key driver for sales of the Double Balloon Endoscopy (DBE) product line and promote the dissemination of information and education related to FICE Multi-Band Imaging™.
  • Serve as a primary resource for training customers on the effective use of equipment in clinical environments.
  • Provide essential educational materials in the field.
  • Collaborate with the Product & Marketing Team to develop necessary educational resources for customers, the sales team, Field Service Team, and internal support staff.
  • Assist in training new field sales and support personnel upon request.
  • Act as field-based experts on proper reprocessing techniques for customer use.
  • Support VIP customers as directed.
  • Deliver weekly and/or monthly reports to management as required.
  • Maintain customer data for integration into future database applications.
  • Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows as requested.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and all other relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of field sales experience or clinical experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GI/pulmonary flexible endoscopy and advanced therapeutic procedures is highly desirable.

Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or related quantitative disciplines is preferred.

Special Skills or Other Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in using a computer, including MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in using MS Outlook and other email applications.
  • Able to communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Effectively manage time and regional budget requirements.
  • Capable of multitasking and handling several projects simultaneously.
  • Able to write reports and convey information accurately and promptly.
  • Ability to prioritize customer needs.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of small groups.
  • Proficient in relaying technical information professionally.
  • Understanding of basic mathematical concepts for discount calculations.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands:

  • Use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards.
  • Stand, talk, and hear.
  • Lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs.
  • Close Vision: Ability to see clearly at a distance of twenty inches or less.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel (up to 75%) may be necessary based on business needs.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 (based on experience) plus a variable bonus opportunity of $49,500.
