We are in search of a meticulous and organized Automotive Contracts/Billing Specialist to enhance our operations. This role is essential in reviewing contracts and ensuring adherence to company standards as well as federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of sales contracts and tax legislation, and expertise in accounting entries related to vehicle transactions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate schedules for new and pre-owned inventory, dealer trades, finance reserves, factory incentives, aftermarket products, and service contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding sales contracts and sales tax.
  • Post new and pre-owned contracts.
  • Review and process new and pre-owned contracts to ensure they meet company standards and legal requirements.
  • Conduct compliance checks on all transactions and perform a final review into CDK.
  • Efficiently manage payoff checks and equity checks.
  • Process monthly dealer finance reserves and diligently follow up on aged items.
  • Reconcile factory incentives and follow up on any aged items.
  • Pay monthly aftermarket invoices, reconcile schedules, process cancellations, and follow up on aged items.
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition practices and follow up on aged items as necessary.
  • Prepare the monthly CAVS report to ensure gross matches accounting records.
  • Manage daily flooring payments and request flooring as needed, ensuring audit items are addressed promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Dealership Contracts Desk.
  • Experience with CDK.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Current California Driver's License.
