Job Title: Residential Nurse

Job Summary:

Lund is seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Nurse to join our team. As a Residential Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized health plans for clients, including nutrition, childbirth, and general health care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' medical needs and document findings in nursing charts.
  • Coordinate clients' preventative and acute healthcare needs with obstetric, pediatric, and primary care providers.
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Provide education and support to parents on the health care of their infants and children.
  • Assess daily acute medical needs of parents and children and document findings in electronic health records.
  • Provide health advocacy for clients and support them in developing self-advocacy skills.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited college/university with a nursing degree and current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Vermont.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Valid VT Driver's License and access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
