Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the Night-Shift Janitor include:

  • Executing cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain the facility's sanitation and cleanliness.
  • Disinfecting rooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Performing additional housekeeping tasks such as moving furniture, laundering linens, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchens and dining areas.
  • Ensuring that cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and stored properly after each shift.
  • Preparing rooms for meetings and events, including arranging furniture and decorations.
  • Adhering to all infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a cleaning role within a commercial, clinical, or healthcare setting is advantageous.

Certifications:

Applicants must have:

  • A valid state driver's license if required.
  • CPR and de-escalation training (available upon hire).
  • First aid certification may be necessary based on state or facility regulations.
