Job Overview
Summary/Objective

The Automotive Tint Installation Specialist is tasked with expertly applying tint to vehicles with precision while thriving in a dynamic work environment.

Essential Functions
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles throughout the installation process.
- Execute the application of tint films.
- Prepare vehicles for tinting by cleaning and washing.
- Remove any graphics and adhesives from vehicles as necessary.
- Manage costs effectively by utilizing warranties and assessing service and parts options for repairs.
- Communicate with service advisors or dispatchers regarding any additional work required.

- Assist service writers in drafting work orders, engaging with customers, or any other tasks necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Keep inventory stocked by monitoring supplies, placing orders, and confirming receipt of parts.
- Ensure a tidy and organized workspace while assisting in maintaining shop cleanliness.
- Document all work performed and recommendations on repair orders in line with operational procedures.
- Stay informed about automotive terminology and technological advancements.

- Adhere to attendance and punctuality standards, accurately recording work hours for shifts, breaks, or personal time off.

- Follow the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
- Comply with all work rules and procedures while following lawful directives from supervisors.
- Uphold the company's confidentiality and non-disclosure policies.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
- Participate in training sessions as requested.
- Attend company meetings as required.

Work Environment
Primarily operates in an automotive shop setting.

Workspace is sheltered but may be subject to varying weather conditions and safety hazards inherent to the job.

Regular exposure to loud noise is expected.
Physical Demands

Medium/Heavy Work: Must be able to lift over 50 pounds with assistance and frequently lift or carry objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with assistance as needed.

This role requires prolonged periods of standing.
This position involves pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, and walking regularly.
Repetitive motion is involved.
Effective communication skills are necessary for this role.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Evening, weekend, and holiday work hours may be required.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, along with two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations)
Preferred additional training and certifications. This is a safety-sensitive position.

The essential functions of this role require working with hazardous or flammable materials; AND/OR completing tasks where a lapse in attention could lead to injury, including operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring heavy equipment, machinery, or motor vehicles.
