Job Summary

This is a part-time position with the City of Murfreesboro, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Bradley Academy Museum. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facility is safe and welcoming for visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Restock supplies and paper products as needed.
  • Operate City-owned vehicles for errands and deliveries.
  • Use hand tools and equipment to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor the facility and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  • Perform other work as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three months of janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use a ladder and hand tools.
