A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DOG BATHER - PET BATHER
In the role of Dog Bather - Pet Bather, you will play a vital part in our care team. Your love for animals will shine as you help cats and dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. Whether you are grooming a delicate Persian or a large Great Dane, you will be equipped to handle each pet with confidence.
Working alongside your department supervisor and bathing lead, you will receive training to properly trim nails, clean ears, and brush fur. You will thoroughly wash and dry pets with a gentle touch, ensuring that their grooming experience is as pleasant as possible. Additionally, you will perform minor computer-related tasks to maintain accurate records. Your daily interactions with animals will bring you joy, knowing that you contribute to their happiness and that of their owners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma OR equivalent
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
Prior experience in pet handling is advantageous. Are you a positive and enthusiastic individual? If working with animals excites you more than a traditional office job, this grooming assistant position may be an excellent fit for you.
WORK SCHEDULE
This full- or part-time grooming assistant position requires availability on Sunday - Monday, including some holidays. Our operational hours are from 7:55 am - 5 pm. Full-time employees typically work five days a week, while part-time schedules may vary.
