Job Summary

This is a part-time position with the City of Murfreesboro, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Bradley Academy Museum facility and surrounding grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the facility is clean and safe for patrons and employees
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Restock supplies and maintain equipment
  • Set up and take down for meetings and events
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Operate City-owned vehicles for errands and deliveries
  • Monitor building conditions and report maintenance needs to supervisor
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Three months of janitorial or custodial experience
  • Valid driver's license (for some positions)
Working Conditions

This position requires a flexible schedule with evening, weekend, and holiday work. The City of Murfreesboro is an equal opportunity employer.
