Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for event clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience.

  • Collaborate with other departments to accommodate special requests for high-profile guests, clients, and partners.
  • Implement event execution procedures in line with the Director of Events & General Managers' vision and standards.
  • Detail event blueprints and create floor plans based on the outlet.
  • Develop and distribute up-to-date event floor plans, event briefs, day-of supervisor event packets, and rental orders.
  • Assist in the setup, breakdown, and execution of events.
  • Ensure all event rentals are scheduled conveniently for the hotel's operations.
  • Maintain a calendar of events through our event management system and attend all necessary event meetings and calls.
  • Communicate with sales, culinary, and hotel management as needed.
  • Interface with the back-of-house staff to ensure proper delivery and coordination of food service.
  • Liaise with external vendors leading up to and throughout the event, including deliveries and pickups.
  • Responsible for collecting and organizing all event final payments as per the signed agreement.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure AR reports are up-to-date and accurate, correcting any discrepancies or late payments.
  • Process event close-out checks on the night of or the following morning of each event.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar setting in restaurants or food and beverage.
  • Must have experience with event management software, preferably Tripleseat.
  • Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment to achieve the hotel's common goal of guest satisfaction.
  • Positive, engaging, and energetic personality.
  • Must be personable with guests and able to anticipate their needs.
  • Able to be organized, manage time wisely, and work with little to no direct supervision.
  • Very high attention to detail.
  • Sensitive to cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs; standing, bending, and lifting may be required.
  • Multi-lingual is a plus.
  • Must be able to take constructive criticism and work well in a team dynamic.
  • Must have full schedule availability.
