Position Overview:


TJFACT is looking to recruit a
Personal Financial Readiness Core Compliance Expert to become a vital part of our team. This role is dependent on the successful awarding of the contract.

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the operations and initiatives of the Military and Family Readiness Center (M&FRC).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, education, and personal financial counseling to assist military personnel and their families in achieving financial stability.
  • Design and implement financial literacy initiatives, beginning with foundational training at the onset of military careers and continuing throughout.
  • Conduct essential financial readiness touchpoints addressing various significant life events and career milestones.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements and programs from both civilian and military sectors, integrating them into current offerings.
  • Assist service members in creating financial plans for extended absences due to deployments.
  • Deliver education on fundamental financial skills, savings strategies, and investment planning, along with conducting workshops on consumer issues.
  • Help identify and address potential consumer rights violations, providing information on available remedies and referring cases as necessary.
  • Perform personal financial assessments for parents seeking childcare hardship waivers.
  • Act as the primary administrator for the myVECTOR Financial Readiness Dashboard.
  • Provide regular status updates through the appropriate channels.
  • Coordinate with unit administrators to ensure effective assignment and collaboration within units.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification recognized by AFCPE
  • Participation in annual DoD Financial Readiness Training Symposium

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of 30 Continuing Education Units (CEU) every two years
  • Experience in providing financial counseling to military personnel and their families.
  • Knowledge of conducting mandatory financial readiness touchpoints at various career stages.
  • Ability to assist with financial planning for extended deployments.
  • Expertise in delivering financial skills training and consumer issue workshops.
  • Understanding of real estate transactions, tax implications, and logistics of household goods.
  • Proficiency in identifying consumer rights violations and making appropriate referrals.
  • Experience as an administrator for financial readiness platforms.
  • Capability to deliver regular reports to leadership.
  • Skill in ensuring unit administrators are effectively assigned and engaged.
