Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team at My Community Dental Centers. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience and promoting a patient-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally, both in-person and over the phone.
- Coordinate effective scheduling and confirmation of appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
- Assist in the coordination of incoming and outgoing patient referrals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Verify patient insurance and eligibility, collect payments as required, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Notify providers of patient arrivals and present pertinent patient information, promoting effective care coordination.
- Assist patients with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Confirm all future appointments and assist in scheduling follow-up treatment, promoting continuity of care.
- Promote patient satisfaction through exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ensure compliance with My Community Dental Centers policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Dental or customer service experience preferred.
