Position: Trade Compliance Engineer and Analyst

Job Overview:

This entry-level role is essential for ensuring adherence to relevant U.S. export and import control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR"), International Traffic in Arms Regulation ("ITAR"), and Office of Foreign Asset Control ("OFAC") sanctions, as well as local and regional laws governing the cross-border movement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison among various internal departments within the organization.
  • Engage with government licensing authorities to guarantee compliance with trade management and control laws.
  • Work in a hybrid model, spending three days in the office and two days remotely.

What You Will Do:

  • Utilize engineering expertise to analyze part specification sheets and associated product documentation to ascertain Export Classification Code Numbers ("ECCN") and local export classifications for sold items.
  • Gather, evaluate, and authorize Customer End Use and Export Compliance Certifications (EUC).
