We are seeking a highly skilled Associate, Member & Provider Compliance Specialist to join our Insurance Operations team at Oscar Health.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, regulatory, or data analysis, with experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve acute and systemic issues within Oscar's operations.
- Analyze data to drive business decisions and impact cross-functional strategy.
- Develop trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
- Draft detailed narratives and reports to communicate compliance findings and updates.
- Oversee the Policies & Procedures review process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support Oscar team members through knowledge sharing, process documentation, and tooling development.
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience in compliance, regulatory, or data analysis within the healthcare or insurance industry.
- 3+ years of experience developing project plans with internal and external stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience designing and improving workflows, including development of accompanying operating and technical procedures and tooling.
- Experience managing complicated business challenges and communicating complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- An academic and professional background in engineering, data, or healthcare.
- Knowledge management, training, or content development in operational settings.
- Process Improvement or Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience using data software to manipulate and analyze large data sets to solve business problems.
