Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs claims support and administrative activities for various disciplines. The successful candidate will work Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Erie Branch Office (Westport location).

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs support and administrative functions, including preparing claims documents and information within established procedures.
  • Provides inbound and outbound phone support and responds to inquiries from customers, escalating as appropriate.
  • Assists claims personnel with various activities, including training and mentoring.
  • Performs various system-related tasks and assists in resolving systems problems.
  • Greets, screens, and directs visitors to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and two years' customer service in a professional setting, administrative, claims support or office experience, required.
  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and calendar scheduling software required.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute and 90 net data entry keystrokes per minute preferred.
