About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Import Classification Manager to join our team at Google. As a key member of our Strategic Sourcing team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on import classification and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for global import classification operations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, regional leaders, and global customs brokers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Exercise oversight of daily global classification operations and build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to obtain requisite product information
  • Drive operational improvements and implement process enhancements to optimize classification efficiency
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting harmonized tariff schedule search and interpreting classification concepts and references
  • 7+ years of experience managing operations and leading cross-regional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
