Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Fanatics. As a key member of our facilities and maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising maintenance personnel to ensure we meet company requirements and continuously improve uptime, response time, and performance with a reliable cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance agenda for all equipment, ensuring timely execution and minimizing downtime.
  • Inventory Management: Establish and maintain a strategic safety stock inventory for spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Maintenance Reporting and Tracking: Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of maintenance activities using our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with production and operational excellence teams on projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for direct reports to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Perform weekend plans to ensure production support and minimize overtime requirements.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Support maintenance team to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions or failures, coordinating with vendors or contractors when necessary.
  • Budgeting and Cost Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Conduct regular inspections and PM audits of equipment to identify and address any issues promptly. Ensure OSHA compliance by checking for safety violations, monitoring hazardous waste, and implementing safety procedures.
  • Emergency Response: Support with equipment restoring procedures and execution during power outages accordingly to the emergency response plan.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience with electrical systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar certification preferred. Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (CIMM) or related credentials preferred. Hydraulic or Pneumatic Certification for specific expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of maintenance technicians. Excellent problem-solving abilities to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing maintenance processes.
Work Environment

Work is performed in a machine shop and manufacturing plant setting. Must be flexible and available to work additional hours when necessary.
