Position Summary: Human Resources Manager

  • Analyze the organization's strategies and assess the effects of emerging technologies, market trends, and workforce dynamics to determine future talent requirements and develop a strategy to ensure an optimal mix of talent, technologies, and employment models to achieve our objectives.
  • Lead projects to create and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with business priorities and objectives.
  • Build strong partnerships with restaurant management and culinary teams to provide coaching and professional development.
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations, resolve employee concerns, and offer guidance to both employees and management.
  • Identify trends within designated business areas and collaborate with leadership to formulate and execute plans to tackle challenges such as skill gaps, turnover, diversity, performance improvement, and organizational design.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements by monitoring and implementing federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Perform regular audits of HR activities to confirm adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the management of employee benefits programs, including retirement plans and medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Address benefits inquiries and complaints to ensure prompt and fair resolutions.
  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Encourage a culture of safety in the workplace through continuous education and training.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and injuries, recommending improvements to prevent future incidents.
  • Lead specific initiatives or projects as directed by the Senior Director of Human Resources.
  • Perform additional duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of comprehensive HR Generalist experience in a multi-state/multi-unit business environment.
  • Thorough understanding of all HR components, including systems, databases, and metrics.
  • Ability to be proactive, independent, efficient, and resourceful in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect data to strategy and create compelling narratives.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills; adept at building relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, with knowledge of contemporary workplace culture principles and methods.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
