Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for People Operations-related inquiries, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, updating changes such as new hires, terminations, and benefits in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure the timely and accurate processing of employee data for bi-weekly payroll.
  • Administer and support employee background checks and employment verifications.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and manage the collection of onboarding forms and documentation.
  • Assist with employee departure procedures, providing guidance and necessary documentation.
  • Support the annual compensation, performance review, and bar admission processes.
  • Draft and distribute internal communications such as memos, notices, and letters.
  • Process departmental expenses, including invoices, check requests, and reimbursements.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or 1-2 years of relevant experience in People Operations or HR administration.
  • Experience within a professional services organization is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client service.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and able to work extended hours as needed.
