YOUR ROLE
As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships and ensuring a positive retail experience for our National Retail clients in the Northern California region. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong connections with local customers, executing projects tailored to National Retail clients, and achieving objectives set by the National and Regional teams.
- Collaborating with National Retail Regional Managers to support sales strategies and relay important market insights to management to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Participating in training sessions within the territory as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (% of Time)
- Engage with existing National Retail customers at the store level by installing and maintaining marketing materials, identifying cross-merchandising opportunities, and building displays. (85%)
- Coordinate with National Retail Regional Managers and other sales personnel to ensure the successful execution of territory projects and initiatives. (10%)
- Manage various administrative tasks, including CRM management, scheduling, business planning, and timely submission of expense reports. (5%)
QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Associate's degree is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in retail merchandising or sales.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing needs.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with common construction tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires approximately 25% domestic travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in the Bay Area or Sacramento.

Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
