Our team is seeking skilled Project Engineers who are experts in land development and embody this mission.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer at Bohler Engineering, you will be the go-to expert in the site design process by:

  • Leading the overall design and plan production strategy, processes, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) framework for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and industrial.
  • Assisting our design team in enhancing their technical site design expertise and practical plan preparation skills through collaborative training in stormwater management, utility design, grading techniques, risk management strategies, and navigating local approval processes.
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor and partner to our clients, understanding their requirements and providing expert guidance, innovative solutions, and value engineering throughout the concept, design, and construction phases to help them achieve their development objectives.
  • Offering strategic recommendations on individual projects to minimize risks for our clients during design, construction, and operational phases.
  • Conducting peer reviews of plans to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A quick learner with the ability to manage multiple tasks, possessing strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • A passion for site design, creative problem-solving, and mentoring others.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license is advantageous.
  • Experience in site civil design, including stormwater management, grading, soil erosion and sediment control, and utilities.
  • Practical experience with civil engineering software (such as AutoCAD Civil3D), industry standards for water modeling, and stormwater modeling programs.
